Kusumi Koharu (久住小春) was the only seventh generation member of Morning Musume and was also a soloist within Hello! Project. She graduated from Hello! Project and Morning Musume on December 6, 2009 to pursue a model career.

Kusumi Koharu is rumored dating Koyama Keiichiro from NEWS. Kusumi Koharu has sold a total of 1,114,889 copies since the beginning of her solo career Kusumi was the only member chosen in the Morning Musume Audition 2005. She debuted on the single Iroppoi Jirettai, was first featured on the Rainbow 7 album, and her first Morning Musume concert was Morning Musume Concert Tour 2005 Natsu Aki "Baribari Kyoushitsu ~Koharuchan Irasshai!~". She joined the Hello! Project kickbase team Metro Rabbits H.P. and she is best known as the voice actress for Tsukishima Kirari, the main character of anime Kirarin Revolution, that started April 7, 2006. She made her solo debut with her single Koi Kana, the opening theme of Kirarin Revolution. Her singles were under the name "Tsukishima Kirari starring Kusumi Koharu (Morning Musume)" and were used as the openings and endings for the anime.
